Cherwell Centre - Phase II - BANBURY
SWA are employed as traffic, highways, environmental, civil and structural engineers on this town centre development, which includes a listed building conversion, provision of 50000 sq ft of new development and creation of a surface car park.

Main problems encountered include contaminated ground where a waste minimisation strategy has been implemented, attenuation of surface water discharge, the implications of section 106 works and the general masterplanning of the structures on a very confined site.
PDS volumetrics has been utilised to obtain precise earthwork quantities, the structures having been modelled on STAAD 3.
